Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and following established protocols.
- Ensure accurate and efficient sample collection, processing, and transportation to the laboratory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and laboratory services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory procedures, technologies, and best practices to maintain high standards of care.
- Good standard of education, including GCSE English Language.
- Excellent understanding of patient needs and requirements.
- Basic computer skills to input and retrieve electronic information.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, particularly of the circulatory and respiratory systems.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to work in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and manage workload effectively.
- Professional, interpersonal, and interaction skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and patients.
