Activity Coordinator

At Bupa, we're passionate about making health happen for our residents. As an Activity Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in creating a vibrant and joy-filled atmosphere in our care home.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging activity plans that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless delivery of activities and events.
- Organize and lead morning and afternoon activity sessions, including arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, and more.
- Plan and execute birthday surprises and other special events for our residents.
- Liaise with external companies and performers to arrange days out and events at the home.
- Provide one-to-one support for residents, using reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and conversation.
- Support the home's social media channels as required.
- A creative thinker with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, care teams, and external partners.
- Ability to manage budgets and maintain paperwork, prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
