We are seeking an experienced and progressive Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) / Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
Cygnet Lodge Kenton is a female high support inpatient rehabilitation service providing a care pathway for service users preparing to step down from hospital stays to community living.
Our service supports up to 15 women experiencing complex mental illness, helping them to re-establish and develop skills over a 12-18 month period.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality.
- Attend all training and engage in continuing professional development to further knowledge and promote nursing excellence.
- Ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained collectively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals under NMC guidelines.
- Administer medicines within healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the latest nursing practices.
- Commit to patient recovery to effectively monitor, manage, and reduce risk.
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a Mental Health setting.
