About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Broker Support Lead to join our UK Property team as part of GC Facultative. The successful candidate will report into the Operations Director and be responsible for delivering a first-class service to our UK and European brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our UK Property and European brokers to deliver a first-class service.
  • Manage the operational metrics and financial pipeline in partnership with the Head of UK Property and the Head of European Property.
  • Support the brokers by coordinating placement activities across a team of Account Handlers.
  • Manage client requests for information and liaise with reinsurers in response to queries or requests.
  • Lead the operational management of the UK and European Property team to ensure quality and efficiency goals are met.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Senior Account Handler/Account Executive and/or Broker Support role.
  • Excellent technical experience and contract drafting capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and computer literacy.
  • Natural ability to develop relationships with clients and attention to detail.
  • Experience of managing, coaching, and mentoring junior team members.
