About the Role

We are seeking a talented Design Manager to lead projects through their design phases, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency within our Engineering team in the South West, UK. This role offers hybrid working and reports directly to the Head of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design strategies.
  • Oversee the design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
  • Identify and mitigate design risks, ensuring project success.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in design management, preferably in the water industry.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with regular travel to project sites.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools.
