Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at the Recruitment Bunker. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing safe and documented control systems to facilitate automotive manufacturing assemblies with a Right First Time approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing engineering processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturability and reduce costs
  • Support the development of new products and processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Implement and maintain documentation processes and tooling to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced engineers and production staff
Requirements:
  • HNC qualification or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, including lean manufacturing and 5S
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office packages and other relevant software
