Position Overview for Electrical Engineer

Bennett and Game Recruitment is representing a prominent environmental services firm specializing in liquid waste management, equipment rentals, treatment solutions, and pump sales.

We are currently seeking a field-based Electrical Engineer (or multi-skilled technician) who will be tasked with visiting both residential and commercial client locations to perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and fault resolution, with assistance from the broader engineering team.

The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities and is primarily focused in the South East region.

Position Requirements for Electrical Engineer

  • Valid Driving License (Essential)
  • Relevant City & Guilds and/or NVQ3 Qualification (Essential for Electrical)
  • Approved JIB Status (Desirable)
  • C&G Confined Space Training (Desirable)
  • First Aid Certification (Desirable)
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations and protocols
  • Strong numeracy and literacy abilities
  • Willingness to take responsibility for oneself and others
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Competence in problem-solving and fault diagnosis
  • Familiarity with industrial mechanical control systems, telemetry, pumps, gearboxes, and general mechanical equipment
  • Experience in the Water Industry or similar industrial environment
