Job Title: Electrical Commissioning and Installation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning and Installation Specialist to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the installation teams with planned and reactive fault diagnoses, commissioning, panel modification, and technical queries at site level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with and carry out all types of Low Voltage electrical work
  • Reasonable understanding of mechanical systems
  • Commissioning of various equipment relevant to the water industry
  • Work with Systems Integrator with commissioning and modifications
Requirements:
  • ECS Gold card
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • Fitness to work medical
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures
  • Willingness to learn and undertake occupational and Health and Safety training
  • Prepared to take responsibility for self and others
  • Able to work on own initiative and ability to give and take instruction
  • Completion of appropriate electrical qualification
Desirable:
  • EUSR
  • Knowledge of: Ethernet & industrial networks (ie Profibus, devicenet, etc)
  • VSD, soft start, star/delta, DOL starters
  • PLC & HMI/SCADA (programming not required)
