Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Risk to join our team at Harnham. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our risk management function and ensuring that our business operations are aligned with our risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks to the business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into all aspects of the business
- Provide risk management guidance and support to senior stakeholders, including the CEO and Board of Directors
- Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with business operations, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk
Requirements:
- Strong experience in risk management, preferably in the financial services industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
