Risk Management Director

Join Bank of America as a Director Market Risk and play a key role in shaping the company's risk management strategy. As a member of the Market Risk Management team, you will be responsible for providing independent oversight of the market risks taken by the Global Equities business.
Key Responsibilities:- Review market risk positions and assess potential risk scenarios to ensure they are within the firm's risk appetite.
- Propose market risk limits for the trading desk and work closely with the business to understand market trends and report exposure under different market conditions.
- Help enhance the firm's risk management capabilities by identifying areas for improvement and implementing new processes and procedures.
- Review risks related to non-standard or structured trades and new products, and work closely with the business and other support functions to determine the nature and size of risks.
- Provide detailed explanations of the market risk of the desk to senior management, the trading desk, and external regulators.
- Good quantitative analytical skills and knowledge of financial markets.
- Excellent work ethic and ability to drive results.
- Willingness to build strong relationships with the business while maintaining independence.
- Experience in Equities markets and financial products (e.g. derivatives) is highly desirable.
