Quality Inspector Position Overview

Streamline Search is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team at a global market leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of drinks dispensing products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct goods' inward inspection of materials from suppliers to ensure compliance with design specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Process and report reject parts and correspond with suppliers to fulfill CAR reports.
  • Monitor manufacturing and assembly of internal operations to ensure quality standards are maintained and introduce product and process improvements.
  • Perform quality inspection of incoming materials in accordance with the quality system and procedures.
  • Quarantine, inspect, and process non-conforming materials.
  • Monitor first-off operator inspection to ensure parts are machined to drawing.
  • Inspect polishing to ensure the desired finish is being achieved.
  • Inspect finished goods built on the shop floor and in the print room.
  • Prepare quality documents for goods-in inspection and SOPs for products and assembly.
  • Receipt and inspection of customer returned products.
Requirements:
  • Engineering background and experience in a quality-related role.
  • Ability to read and interpret component and assembly drawings.
