ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated internal Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Mpac Group, where your enthusiasm for excellence and collaboration will flourish.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:

  • Play a crucial role in attracting, evaluating, and securing qualified candidates for various roles across the UK.
  • Be passionate about connecting exceptional talent with innovative opportunities to help shape the workforce of the future.
  • Join our supportive, people-oriented HR team, which consists of three local members and a global HR network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and source exceptional talent, qualified to meet the demands of our roles and contribute to the evolution of our diverse workforce.
  • Support and enhance the overall recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment process.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to comprehend job specifications.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies.

  • Shortlists of qualified candidates.
  • Positions filled in a timely manner.
  • Improved metrics for time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.
  • Enhanced employer branding and candidate experience.
  • Diverse talent pool.

  • Updated job descriptions and competency frameworks.
  • Support the transition to successful onboarding of new hires.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of manufacturing and engineering roles.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with employment law and regulations.
  • Proficiency in interview techniques and assessment methods.
  • Awareness of data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Understanding of employer branding and candidate experience principles.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
  • Basic knowledge of HR functions and their connection to recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive approach to tasks and a genuine team player.

PREFERABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Understanding of recruitment agency contractual terms and management.
