Financial Leadership Opportunity in a Fast-Growing Energy Business

Newstone Talent Solutions is seeking a seasoned Financial Director to join our client's dynamic energy business. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations for the UK division, driving financial strategy, and providing commercial analysis to support the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure the company's financial performance aligns with its growth objectives.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintenance of financial records.
  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified finance professional.
  • Experience: Proven experience in finance within a similar asset-heavy, fast-paced industry (energy, infrastructure, facilities, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Technical Skills: Strong financial acumen, hands-on experience in establishing financial operations, and proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Commercially savvy with the capability to deliver actionable insights for business improvement.
  • Adaptability: Willing to take on diverse responsibilities and adapt to evolving business needs.

What's On Offer:
