Aerospace Quality Assurance Inspector

As a Quality Control Inspector at GE Renewable Energy Power and Aviation, you will be a key member of the Inspection department, reporting directly to the Inspection Leader. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and compliance of supply chain products and OEM releases in accordance with CAA regulations, thereby contributing to our commitment to excellence in quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role will involve various activities related to the Inspection function within the aerospace sector. The essential duties include:
- Assisting the Inspection Leader in achieving organizational objectives.
- Upholding the company's values and principles.
- Executing CAA Part 21 releases for Propeller Kits and Control Units.
- Conducting inspections on components received from suppliers to ensure they meet required standards.
- Performing final inspections on manufactured products.
- Proficient in understanding, reading, and writing English.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems and familiarity with ISO, AS, and inspection sampling methodologies.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and procedural documentation.
- Possess a diverse set of inspection skills and knowledge.
- Analytical mindset with a methodical approach to resolving complex technical issues.
- Competence in structured problem-solving techniques.
- Experience with various gauges and measuring instruments, including Hardness Testing and Surface Analyzers.
- Proficient in IT, including ERP systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong personal initiative and motivation to drive process enhancements.
- Legible handwriting, essential for CAA Part 21 documentation.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with TipQA and Syteline software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
- Flexibility in roles and a collaborative approach within team settings.
- Capability to work independently while supporting team dynamics.
- Experience in CMM operation and programming.
