Role Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Inspector within the aviation industry, your primary responsibility will be to execute the final evaluation of repair and overhaul (R&O) equipment, ensuring adherence to established standards. You will be responsible for issuing validated release documentation and maintaining compliance with customer, contractual, and regulatory obligations. Your role will also involve conducting layout assessments and providing assistance in various operational functions as required. Furthermore, you will play a key role in applying lean methodologies to improve efficiency across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform final assessments of components, including props, blades, and control units, in accordance with specifications and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM).
- Compile and prepare essential documentation for product release.
- Ensure traceability and compliance throughout the inspection process.
- Assist engineering and quality assurance teams with investigations as needed.
- Experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and other documentation.
- Minimum qualification of HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficient in computer operations with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Prior experience in aerospace engineering is preferred.
- Collaborative team player.
- Experience in inspection and R&O assembly processes.
- Strong manual dexterity.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities.
