About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a skilled Finals Inspector to join our team in Gloucester. As a key member of our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our landing gear and associated components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete delivery reports with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Review lifting equipment for suitability and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Act as a company signatory for critical tasks
  • Develop and implement build and test plans for assembly
  • Review customer requirements and ensure alignment with company standards
  • Utilize strip reporting experience to identify and resolve issues

Requirements

  • Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in aerospace or landing gear industry
  • Ability to interpret component maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and instructions
  • Solution-based thinking to overcome obstacles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with root cause analysis
  • Self-management and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Efficient computer skills
  • High levels of flexibility and integrity during changes in work demands
