We are seeking a confident and compassionate Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified to provide support for pupils with various Special Educational Needs in our Outstanding Primary School in Newham.
About the Role:
- Provide individualized support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Special Educational Needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Assist with classroom activities, including lesson preparation and delivery.
- Support pupils with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene.
Requirements:
- Confidence and experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and its impact on learning.
