Reinsurance Purchaser Role

Harrison Holgate is seeking a skilled Reinsurance Purchaser to join our team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in reinsurance purchasing and a strong understanding of the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place outwards Reinsurance, including Excess of Loss and Proportional Treaty, to ensure optimal risk management and portfolio optimization.
  • Analyze and review prospective Reinsurance, evaluating portfolio risks and exposures to inform strategic decisions.
  • Review and agree on placing slips to ensure accurate and compliant reinsurance placements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with reinsurers and brokers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
  • Produce reinsurance renewal information and exhibits to support business operations.
  • Conduct quarterly account analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to respond to Reinsurer queries and ensure seamless communication.
  • Monitor account developments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the Outwards Reinsurance Purchasers to provide cover as required and support business growth.
