Job Summary

As a Prison Security Escort with SkyBlue Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become long-term, and we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Escorting: Escort and oversee contractors, such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, while they complete maintenance work within the facility.
  • Identification and Briefing: Verify the identification of contractors and ensure they have been briefed on security measures before allowing them to enter the facility.
  • Logistics and Administration: Book contractors in and out of the facility, create tool lists, and oversee the use of tools to prevent loss or damage.
  • Radio Communication: Use a radio to request permission to move contractors within the facility and maintain open communication with the security team.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with contractors, security personnel, and other stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail to ensure the security and safety of the facility and its occupants.
  • Safety Consciousness: Be safety-conscious and proactive in identifying potential security risks and taking steps to mitigate them.
  • Security Vetting: Be able to pass security vetting, which includes providing references, passing security police checks, and providing photo identification.
