About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Service Agent to join our team at Green Tomato Cars. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is exceptional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process phone and email bookings in line with company procedures
  • Act as the first point of escalation for customer service issues, either resolving at source or escalating where necessary
  • Handle customer queries and complaints, providing solutions within Service Level Agreements
  • Contribute to customer service policies and processes based on customer feedback
  • Process customer accounts and profiles, and associated tasks
  • Represent Green Tomato Cars in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications/Key Skills

Essential

  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Strong team-working skills with the ability to take ownership of your output
  • Confidence in dealing with stakeholders within the business' operational sphere
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident computer literacy (online platforms, Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of working in a troubleshooting environment, solving problems in a pressurised environment

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Echo or similar private hire / taxi booking software
  • A working knowledge of Zendesk
  • Experience in the private hire / taxi, hospitality or broader travel industry

Working Arrangements

This is an office-based role, and you should have your own transport or be happy to take public transport. The working hours are 11:30-19:30 or 12:00-20:00 (8 hours), or 11:00-20:00 or 11:30-20:30 (9 hours).

Salary Guide

£26,000-£29,250 per annum + Bonus
