This position calls for a collaborative individual with creativity and business acumen, alongside the enthusiasm and resolve to enhance and expand the operations in conjunction with the General Manager.
We seek a leader who has a proven track record in upholding and advancing the standards and reputation of the facility, while fostering a growing membership and a motivated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the fitness center.
- Take on the duties of the General Manager during their absence.
- Contribute to achieving the financial objectives of the facility.
- Support the delivery of exceptional operational standards.
- Meet and exceed established performance indicators.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff, guiding them towards success.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in a management role within the leisure or fitness industry is essential.
- A strong passion for customer service and the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
- Must hold at least a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
- Experience in driving sales and coordinating local marketing initiatives, along with managing a successful team.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager in a leisure facility or significant experience in a Fitness Manager role or similar operational capacity is preferred.
