Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage credit control, including aged debtor analysis and chasing debtors.
  • Process invoices and receipts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Perform bank account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Monitor income and expenditure, providing regular financial reports to the senior team.
  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate financial planning.
  • Prepare financial metrics for the senior team, providing insights into company performance.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, highlighting key financial trends and areas for improvement.
  • Refine and develop finance systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain company cash flow, ensuring timely payments and minimizing debt.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all financial queries, providing expert advice and support.
  • Prepare information for year-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial management systems.
  • Experience with financial management software, such as SAGE.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Qualification from a recognised accountancy body, such as CIMA, ACCA, or AAT.
