About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director to lead our Heat Networks Programme Delivery Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operationalising the new Heat Network regulation rules and digital processes, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of our programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Heat Networks Programme Delivery Team to deliver the new Heat Network regulation rules and digital processes on time and in budget.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain a robust governance and oversight framework to ensure successful delivery of the Heat Networks Programme.
  • Identify, prioritise, assess, and mitigate strategic and operational risks and issues, ensuring senior stakeholders are briefed and updated accordingly.
  • Effectively manage multiple and complex contracts across various contract types to deliver Ofgem's key priorities at pace.
  • Provide strategic leadership in monitoring benefit delivery and maximising benefits from the programme.
