The Burford Recruitment Company Ltd is representing a reputable property management firm seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to enhance their team in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
In this dynamic and multifaceted position, you will collaborate closely with the Business and Finance Manager to maintain precise and current financial documentation while providing essential administrative assistance. Your commitment to quality will be crucial in delivering exceptional outcomes for the firm’s clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Overseeing daily cashbook activities
- Managing petty cash and company credit transactions
- Inputting sales ledger invoices and generating debtor reports
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and coordinating payment schedules
- Administering customer and supplier accounts
- Organizing office documentation
- Supervising employee timesheets and expense reports
- Procuring office supplies and gifts, including managing online accounts
- Handling subscription services
- Preparing VAT submissions
- Managing incoming and outgoing office correspondence
- Banking cheques
- Processing payroll through the Earnie system, including handling HMRC Pension, P60, P11D, year-end tasks, and managing employee onboarding and offboarding
- Staying informed on training, compliance, and policy updates
- Overseeing the finance system (Landmark), including training and maintenance responsibilities
Client Financial Management:
- Processing weekly payroll for clients
- Managing rental processes, including tenant transitions and deposit management
- Handling rental invoices and landlord disbursements
- Preparing HMRC rental returns
- Managing client bank account records and reconciliations
- Preparing HMRC rental declarations
- Administering rural management client accounts, including farm rents, statements, payments, and receipts
- Managing residential management client accounts, including supplier payments, landlord disbursements, and rent collections
- Executing the rent demand process and tenant debtor reporting
- Overseeing the finance system (Landmark) for clients, including training and maintenance duties
