We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Team Leader within our organization, dedicated to providing exceptional support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective operation of our community social care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management and supervision of the service area, ensuring that all planned activities are executed efficiently.
- Set daily priorities and provide guidance and support during team meetings.
- Foster collaboration among various project components to create a supportive team environment.
- Assist the service manager with project-related duties and step in during their absence.
- Engage directly with individuals receiving support as needed, while supervising staff to ensure consistent practice reviews.
- Manage financial aspects, risk assessments, care plans, and other relevant documentation.
- Stay informed about key developments in Health and Social Care, CQC standards, and other pertinent topics.
- Coordinate with fellow team leaders to ensure seamless day-to-day operations across projects.
Candidate Profile
- Proven management experience, with a NVQ Level 3 in Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
- Significant background in care-related roles, particularly in learning disability services.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Commitment to collaborative work with colleagues and management to enhance service delivery and develop new initiatives.
- A shared passion for our organizational values and mission.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota on a shared basis.
