At MS Amlin, our Underwriters play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our business.
Reporting to the Senior E-Trade Underwriter, you will be an integral part of the underwriting team, empowered to make informed underwriting decisions, enhance etrade products by analyzing conversion, referral, and decline rates, and contribute to the effective execution of our strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities will include driving the growth of MS AISE by maintaining and developing new business while minimizing loss exposure. You will manage products such as commercial combined and shop packages, and assist the broader team with property and digital delegated authorities.

Compliance and Risk Management:
Performing your role in accordance with the Company's Business Ethics policy and all relevant regulatory requirements. Managing the location/market to ensure compliance with applicable risk, regulatory, and legal standards while adhering to broader company policies.Management Information:
Actively participating in regular underwriting meetings. Reviewing underwriting data regularly to identify unusual trends or adverse movements, taking appropriate action as necessary. Preparing monthly reports detailing New Business & Renewal income, Conversion & Quotability percentages, along with any suggestions for product improvements. Serving as a peer reviewer for all risks and significant endorsements as required. Staying informed about developments impacting the class's business, profitability, and opportunities, and reporting relevant insights to leadership.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Eager learner, actively pursuing CII accreditation. Previous experience in SME Non-Motor General Insurance, particularly in E-Trade Underwriting. Understanding of Management Information and its direct relevance to E-Trade underwriting. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Required Qualifications:
