Building Manager

Salary: £26,873 - £28,770 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (Split Shift)
Facility Services and Civic Management work across the city and Gateshead providing building cleaning, caretaking, school meals and welfare catering services.

The RoleAn opportunity exists for a suitable individual to work within the Facility Services Division of City Operations, Neighbourhoods and Regulatory Services Directorate as a Relief Facility Supervisor.
To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have good communication skills, the ability to work with limited supervision, and be capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting and carrying of equipment, materials/furniture.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for the security of the premises, setting alarms, and general health and safety issues relating to the building.
- Has a flexible approach to work, hours, and locations.
- Is suitable to work with children and young people.
- Can undertake written and spoken instructions and speak English.
You must be able to travel citywide and undertake a split shift requirement of the role.
