Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Head of Data Sales to lead the growth of our data network connectivity business, drive sales targets, and expand electronic trading solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a global data sales strategy to drive business growth and expansion
    • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to identify new business opportunities
    • Lead the go-to-market data strategy to increase sales and revenue
    • Create compelling business cases to justify investments in data sales initiatives
    • Provide input into sales compensation plans to motivate sales teams
  • Creativity and Innovation:
    • Identify innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients
    • Engage in out-of-the-box thinking to stay ahead of the competition
    • Embody diversity of thought to drive business growth and innovation
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Strategic Planning:
    • Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and engineering
    • Partner with marketing efforts to develop effective sales strategies
    • Coordinate account activity with support teams to ensure seamless customer experience
    • Optimize margin on deals to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Management and Mentorship:
    • Build and mentor a high-performing sales team to drive business growth and expansion
    • Help team members develop account strategies to increase sales and revenue
    • Coach team members to improve their sales skills and performance
    • Lead by example and elevate team efforts to achieve business objectives
  • Leadership Updates:
    • Provide accurate reporting to senior leadership on sales performance and business growth
    • Provide feedback on market opportunities and trends to inform business strategy
    • Manage budget effectively to ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Experience and Qualifications:
    • Leadership experience in financial market network sales, with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion
    • Achieved sales targets and exceeded expectations in previous roles
    • Mentoring and talent acquisition experience to develop high-performing sales teams
    • Strong understanding of electronic trading infrastructure and data sales solutions
    • Success-driven and enthusiastic individual with a passion for sales and business development
