About the Role

As a Digital Merchandising Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our product offerings are strategically positioned to meet customer demand and align with market trends. This dynamic role combines trend analysis, product placement, and stock management, alongside troubleshooting platform issues and maintaining accurate inventory levels.

Collaborating closely with the Trading Manager, you'll contribute to forecasts and trend analyses, influencing key merchandising decisions that drive business growth. You'll also review sales data daily to make informed commercial decisions that effectively manage both sales and inventory.

Responsibilities
  • Planning: Oversee product launches, analyze performance metrics (STR%), coordinate new product listings, and ensure timely website updates.
  • Trading: Monitor reserved stock levels, review low-selling items, manage transfers between stores, and track replenishment processes. Analyze sales data across online and physical channels to identify trends and optimize performance.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with buyers, marketing teams, and the wider digital marketing team (PPC, SEO, Affiliates) to ensure product-related activities are aligned and effective.
Skills & Experience
  • Analytical mindset with a proven ability to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL knowledge is beneficial.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization and time management abilities.
  • Experience within a sports apparel or retail environment is preferred.
