Job Overview

Gresham Hunt is partnering with a leading Commodities Broker to find a new Trade Surveillance Associate. Our client is a prominent Commodities Broker that has experienced significant growth, and they are looking to expand their Compliance Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough surveillance on the firm's trading activity to identify potential market abuse.
  • Flag suspicious trades and provide support in investigating instances of market manipulation.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to the creation of MI reports for the surveillance team.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience in conducting trade surveillance, with familiarity with Nasdaq SMARTS system.
  • Knowledge of Commodities products and derivatives (Futures and Options).
  • Strong computer literacy and analytical skills.
  • A good academic record (2:1 or better) in a relevant subject (Finance, Economics, STEM, etc.).
