About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at RGB London. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality structural engineering projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget management.
  2. Develop and implement effective business management systems to drive project efficiency and quality.
  3. Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project proposals and bids.
  5. Ensure technical compliance with regulatory standards and company quality management procedures.
  6. Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide engineering policies and procedures.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Requirements

  1. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, with a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  2. Proven track record of delivering complex structural engineering projects in a consultancy environment.
  3. Strong knowledge of UK structural engineering design standards and Eurocodes.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Full UK driving licence.
