About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at ETS Technical Selection. As a Building Envelope Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing the fitness for purpose of construction products and systems related to building envelope structures and structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and carry out assessments of construction products and systems related to building envelope structures and structural engineering.
  • Manage multiple projects, preparing contract offers and estimates for the assessment of various types of construction products and systems related to facades, cladding, roofing, and/or curtain walling.
  • Research and investigate aspects of construction product/system performance.
  • Work as part of a team, contributing to team and individual targets and objectives.
  • Regularly converse with clients to ensure good quality and standards are maintained.
Requirements
  • BSc/BEng or above in a relevant engineering discipline (such as Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Technology, Mechanical Engineering, etc).
  • Experience working with facades, cladding, curtain walling, and/or roofing.
  • Experience in the construction industry, including materials, design, site, warranty company, building control, and product testing.
