About the RoleMy client, a well-established building contractor, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Oswestry. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality services to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake quantity surveying duties, including measurement, cost estimating, and cost planning.
- Assist in the administration and management of various construction contracts, ensuring compliance and adherence to contractual terms.
- Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to clients for cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, including cost forecasting, valuations, and final accounts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a point of contact for project-related discussions and queries.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve project objectives.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices, ensuring that projects comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Experience working on similar projects between £5m and £20m would be ideal.
- 1 + years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Up to £60,000 (DOE)
