About the Role

My client, a well-established building contractor, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Oswestry. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertake quantity surveying duties, including measurement, cost estimating, and cost planning.
  2. Assist in the administration and management of various construction contracts, ensuring compliance and adherence to contractual terms.
  3. Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to clients for cost-effective solutions.
  4. Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, including cost forecasting, valuations, and final accounts.
  5. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a point of contact for project-related discussions and queries.
  6. Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve project objectives.
  7. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices, ensuring that projects comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Experience working on similar projects between £5m and £20m would be ideal.
  • 1 + years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
