Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Leigh Academy Bexley is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school during periods of teacher absence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide instructions and guidance to students, ensuring they complete the work set by the class teacher.
  • Answer students' general questions and provide support as needed.
  • Report back to the teacher on a range of issues, including student progress and any concerns.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor when dealing with students.
  • Confidence in leading a full class and managing student behavior.
