Solutions Consultant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solutions Consultant to join a forward-thinking Output Management Consultancy. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the sales process by offering technical support, developing proof of concepts, configuring demonstration environments, and converting business requirements into effective technical solutions.

As part of a small yet growing consulting team, you will receive comprehensive training on the leading Output Management solution. Your responsibilities will include engaging with partners in the financial sector and assisting the commercial team with client interactions.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking an independent role where you can tailor your responsibilities to fit your strengths over time. There are numerous opportunities for career advancement, including potential leadership roles within the team.

While the office is located in Cambridge, the role offers significant flexibility with remote work, requiring only weekly visits to the office.

Key Responsibilities of the Solutions Consultant include:


• Participate in client meetings, providing insights from a pre-sales and consultancy viewpoint.


• Deliver development and implementation services adhering to industry best practices.


• Communicate directly with clients, managing your own workload effectively.


• Create and document functional design specifications.


• Offer support and ensure that client inquiries are managed efficiently.

The ideal Solutions Consultant will possess:


• A solid technical background with experience in a consultancy role.


• Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to read and write SQL queries.


• Strong capability to perform under pressure.


• Experience in stakeholder management.


• A valid UK Driving License.


• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.


• Familiarity with any of the following tools is advantageous, though not mandatory:

o Microsoft Dynamics

o JavaScript

o Microsoft Azure

o JSON & XML

In terms of compensation, a competitive salary of up to £45,000 is available, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
