Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Aegon Asset Management. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safeguarding of sensitive information and compliance with data privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations
  • Ensure operational effectiveness of data discovery, classification, and remediation procedures
  • Assess and manage risks related to data privacy
  • Coordinate and deliver privacy training, communications, and general awareness of policy implications to those with responsibilities for data
  • Work closely with privacy-related initiatives to provide expertise and industry best practice on data privacy capabilities, tooling, and remediation
  • Gather data, perform analysis, draft reports, and dashboards to communicate on goals, progress, and any risks/issues

Requirements

  • Computer Science or similar bachelor's degree
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience
  • Certifications in relevant technologies, methods, and platforms are a plus
  • Experience with working in the financial industry is a plus
  • Experience within a corporate working environment
