SGS is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our food testing and analytical services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting tests and analysis to ensure the safety and compliance of food products with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and analysis to detect potential hazards and report on findings and data.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including instruments and LIMS systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and training to colleagues as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as food science, chemistry, or biology.
- 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in food testing and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality control protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
