Quality Assurance Manager

Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, the Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the quality assurance processes within our operations, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Upholding adherence to Corporate Quality Assurance Policies while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective quality control programs for raw materials, in-process materials, production processes, environmental conditions, and finished products.
  • Recruiting, developing, and retaining a skilled workforce to support quality initiatives.
  • Ensuring alignment with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Facilitating customer and third-party audits, while implementing continuous improvement strategies for operational excellence. Coordinating customer site visits and audits.
  • Collaborating with other division QA Managers, Directors, and Corporate QA leadership to establish specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), recipes, and inspection plans for both raw materials and finished products.
  • Strategically planning project work and managing resources to meet project objectives. Leading both short-term and long-term quality initiatives.
  • Overseeing departmental staffing, budget management, and capital project planning.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Technical Studies, Quality Assurance, Research, Product Development, or a related field is required. Degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, or Food Technology are preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record in managing multiple projects and teams effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP, BRC Auditing, SSOPs, GMPs, Quality Systems, and Hygiene is essential.
  • Ability to adapt to external changes and pursue innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively guide and influence team members.
  • Strong strategic leadership and teamwork capabilities, with the ability to convey strategies in a clear and professional manner.
  • Proficient in people management and coaching, with a focus on planning for future departmental needs and operations.
