About the Role

Scout Recruiting is collaborating with a prominent client to find a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong commitment to quality and a background in engineering environments.

Position Details

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. The salary range is competitive, reflecting experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and enhance quality procedures in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Maintain and improve ISO9001 quality management systems, conducting internal audits and overseeing external audits.
  • Review and propose modifications to existing policies and procedures, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Work closely with various teams to address customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Assist with inquiries to meet both internal and external quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with procurement staff to establish quality standards for external suppliers.
  • Conduct quality checks on incoming materials.
  • Engage with suppliers for ongoing feedback and address warranty or quality concerns.
  • Facilitate internal meetings with relevant data to track improvements.
  • Monitor internal stoppages and support long-term solutions.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A solid background in quality management, with a comprehensive understanding of ISO9001:2015.
  • A minimum of four years' experience in a quality-focused role.
  • Expertise in conducting internal and external quality audits.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
  • A qualification in quality management or problem-solving techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
