About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, inventory, and cash processes to optimize store performance and minimize losses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and other store leaders to achieve business objectives and drive store growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and be available for on-call duties.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, cash handling, and customer service.
