Your Role

Oxa Autonomy's Sensor & Compute team is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge software and platforms for autonomous vehicles. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of complex vehicle systems, enabling our software to be developed and tested on our autonomous vehicles.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Integrate diverse vehicle systems to create a cohesive whole, facilitating software development and testing on our autonomous vehicles.
  • Develop software solutions for hardware integration and automation process improvement.
  • Establish and manage test bench infrastructure for evaluating performance, encompassing hardware and software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results, identify performance limitations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Apply your understanding of self-driving car sensing technology (LiDAR, Cameras, RADAR) to drive innovation.
  • Investigate the combination of the autonomous software stack and new hardware to ensure intended functionality.
  • Utilize your data exploration expertise to ensure each new platform meets Oxa Autonomy's standards.
  • Develop and execute test cases for these systems.
  • Understand and adhere to safety and legislative requirements for your work.
  • Debug electrical and hardware issues for new components integrated on test vehicles.
  • Contribute to internal process documents and user documentation for the commissioning process.
  • Produce Field Bugs documents and participate in agile planning processes.
  • Contribute to Autonomous Vehicle Daily Checklists.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in Automotive, Robotics, or similar industry backgrounds in System Engineering.
  • Familiarity with C++ and Python scripting, or similar automation tools.
  • Knowledge of automotive and robotics communication systems.
  • Understanding of key elements of autonomous systems.
  • Able to communicate technical matters clearly and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
