Job Title: Key Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Adecco. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing key account functions, working closely with the Sales Manager and Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecasting: Liaise with customers to agree realistic forecasts, analyze and question forecasts, and advise on potential future impacts on service levels.
  • Manage stock levels: Work closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Stock Control to meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Agree SLAs on stock-supported and special items.
  • Liaise with Customer Service and Stock Control to manage call-off contract agreements.
  • Regular review of order books: Liaise with Customer Service and Stock Control, visit customers with order books to discuss performance levels, and recognize points of escalation.
  • Monitor Service Level: Report any issues to the Commercial Manager and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as necessary.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to provide data for monthly sales analysis to the Sales Director.
  • Pricing: Review sales prices.
  • Costing: Responsible for monitoring costs and reporting to the Commercial and Sales Manager.
  • Manage aged stock and slow-moving obsolete goods.
  • Support administration activities where required on key accounts.
  • Process Mapping: Introduce, define, implement, and monitor efficient account management processes in liaison with all departments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate or professional business qualification preferable.
  • Computer literate, good Excel ability is essential.
  • Proven track record of successful account management.
  • Customer-facing experience essential to further develop the relationship.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, driven, and confident individual.
  • Takes responsibility for own actions.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality results to both customers and colleagues.
  • Comfortable at mid-senior level interaction.
  • Ability to identify problems and cooperate with others when solving them.
  • Effectively resolve conflicting differences through discussion.
  • Embrace attention to detail with ability to integrate data from different sources effectively.
  • Essential need to prioritize workload and work on own initiative.
  • Fluent communicator at all levels.
