The Vacancy

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing measurement systems and analysis, ensuring the highest level of quality in our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed records of inspection plans, ISIRS, and FAIRS.
  • Improve and develop methods and systems of enhanced measurement to aid production and reduce machine downtime.
  • Develop measurement policies to reduce scrap in the machine shop.
  • Manage quality projects to increase the effectiveness of our quality system.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of metrology with a background in quality engineering.
  • Ability to understand and read engineering drawings.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality systems.
  • Ability to maintain detailed quality records.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with coordinate measurement machines (CMM).
  • Familiarity with a wide range of materials, primarily plastics, rubber, and metals, and their method of inspection.
  • Experience with first article inspection to AS9102.
