Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Our client, Kevin Theobald Employment Agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching items. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching items.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and warehouse best practices, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials, ensuring efficient processes and minimizing delays.
  • Staff Management: Manage and evaluate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and discipline, to ensure a high-performing team.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role, with a strong track record of managing warehouse operations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems, as well as excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of warehouse operations, health and safety regulations, and inventory management principles.
