Deputy Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that our high standards of customer service and product quality are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Store Manager in the management of the store, including staff supervision, customer service, and stock control.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of store strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive and productive store environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and address any operational issues, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of success in driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £35,000 per annum.
  • 30-35 days' holiday (pro rata) per year.
