About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at Thorn Baker Facilities Maintenance. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple cleaning sites and contracts, ensuring excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of cleaning operatives to achieve and exceed contract SLA and KPI
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of directly employed staff
  • Attend training and meetings as required, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
  • Implement company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence
  • Manage timesheets and budgets, ensuring accurate and timely completion
  • Act as a contact point for enquiries from various departments, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Conduct site visits to ensure client contractual requirements are met, and cleaning equipment is maintained and PAT tested
  • Assist with pre-sale involvement, attending new client site meetings and managing TUPE transfers and recruitment of operatives
  • Provide cover for cleaning operatives, often at short notice
About You

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Area Manager who can lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional results. You will have a proven track record of managing multiple cleaning sites and contracts, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
