Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Female Physical Education Teacher to join our team at a fantastic inclusive all-girls school in East London. As a dynamic and experienced educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop and implement a constantly evolving curriculum that meets the requirements of the National Curriculum.
  • Utilize excellent classroom management skills to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement extra-curricular activities that promote physical activity and well-being.
  • Contribute to the school's mission to provide first-rate teaching, learning, and extra-curricular activities within a caring and supportive environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT)/Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a relevant PE qualification.
  • Experience of teaching Key Stage 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and its requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
