Inventory Planner at TVS-SCS

We are seeking an Inventory Planner to become a vital part of our team at TVS-SCS. Reporting directly to the Senior Inventory Planner, your primary responsibility will be to assess demand from the MOD for multi-service apparel and footwear needs. This role will require you to create comprehensive reporting and performance metrics, manage system-generated Demand Forecast discrepancies, and collaborate with Commodity and Category teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in Inventory Management within the supply chain, encompassing procurement, planning, and/or warehouse operations. Additionally, familiarity with ERP systems, commercial experience in the apparel sector, and proficiency in demand planning methodologies are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a consistent Commodity Support Inventory Plan
  • Generate and maintain reporting and performance metrics
  • Oversee system-generated Demand Forecast discrepancies
  • Establish and implement stocking policies for new product launches
  • Engage in process enhancement initiatives
  • Analyze data outputs from the ERP system
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Inventory Management
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Commercial experience in the apparel industry
  • Strong demand planning capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills (including Vlookup, pivot tables, and complex formulas)
