Manufacturing Engineer - External Supply Chain Role

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our External Supply Chain team at Rolls-Royce Submarines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the manufacture of critical components associated with the external supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the capability of manufacturing suppliers and support source selection and approval in the supply chain.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and methods to meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate, and lead-time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and methods.
  • Use negotiation and coaching skills to build relationships with suppliers and customers.

Requirements

  • Experience in fabrications, valves, complex assemblies, machining, and critical classified components.
  • Degree in an engineering or related technical discipline with previous experience in manufacturing engineering and/or process engineering.
