Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Team Leader to join our team at Turning Point. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for forming and shaping a team, alongside the day-to-day management of the service. You will work closely with individuals to help them achieve their potential and make a real difference to their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Form and shape a team of Recovery Workers/Peer Support Workers
  • Provide line management and support to the team
  • Work closely with individuals to develop personal, flexible, and recovery-focused support plans
  • Support the development of the service alongside the Service Manager
  • Ensure the service meets and exceeds outcomes and quality requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous relevant experience of using a person-centred approach in a Mental Health setting
  • Good understanding of the complex needs of individuals we support
  • Experience of working with people with mental health crisis
  • Effective team player with good communication skills
  • Flexible recovery-focused approach and positive attitude
